128 to 35mm Bulk Film 1 Spool Adapter Ensignette No 1 #1 Kodak Ensign E1 1½ x2¼

Description

This Film Adapter spool lets you load normal 35mm film either taken from a standard 35mm cartridge or from bulk and use it in in the Ensignette No1 camera. The 128 film went out of production in 1940's and is extremely difficult to find, and if found it's expensive and obviously expired! This listing includes 1 spool and no film.
The parts are printed with a very solid PETG polymer!
If you don't have an original spool you will need to order 2 of them.
In a film bag hand spool fresh 35mm film onto the adapter spool. A bit of tape may be useful to hold it in place.
With the camera inside the film back install the spool being sure to engage the drive blade.
The Insignette has a film door on the back. Do not open this door as it will expose the film. Its best to use some back take on the inside of the camera and cover it just in case.
Pull the leader over to your original or 2nd adapter spool (ordered separately) and close the camera.
That's it. A little trial and error to get the correct film advance for each shot but you can test with some old expose or expired film
