Description
TheElan Ripstick 88
is a versatile and energetic all mountain ski that is a blast to ride in any conditions.
There are skis that are designed to rip up the groomers (like the Wingman) and skis that are designed to float in the powder (like the Ripstick 116) but if you're anything like us, you don't spend all day on just one terrain. What you're looking for is a ski that can ride anything, no matter which direction you point it on the way down. The Ripstick 88 perfectly bridges the gap between on and off-piste skis. At 88mm underfoot, this ski is skinny enough to be quick edge to edge on groomers but wide enough to keep you on top of the powder and crud. The Ripstick 88 is super light and powerful with Elan's SST Sidewall, Carbon Line Technology, VaporTip construction, a TubeLite Woodcore, and Carbon Rods. The Ripstick family also has Elan's Amphibio profile, meaning that there is a specific left and right ski with more camber on the inside edge, making a ski that is surprisingly forgiving but can grip it and rip it when you want to. If you've ever ridden an Elan ski, you know that all the technology talk just means one thing; FUN! Whether you are looking for your first pair of all-mountain skis or you've been shredding Corbett's since skis were 10 feet tall, you can hop on a pair of Ripsticks and have a really fun day on the mountain. Beginners are surprised by how easy they are to ski and experts are surprised by how well they hold up at speed. Designed and ridden by ski legend Glen Plake, the Elan Ripstick family has the perfect ski for you.

Special Safety Notice for Bindings:
We urge you to take your boots and bindings to a shop certified by the bindings’ manufacturer to have a function check. The majority of shops will charge for this service.
Even though we may, by request, check to see if a binding should fit your boot sole length, such an adjustment and fit check does not verify that the bindings will release properly with your boot. Only a certified shop can do this, with the user's boots present.
