New for 2021, the Volkl Blaze picks up where the 100Eight left off. With similar measurements and overall feel and performance, the Blaze 106 has a few tricks up its sleeve to separate itself from its predecessor. One of Volkl's new favorite tech toys is the 3D Radius sidecut that puts more of the power in terms of turn control into the skier's hands, or feet. The harder you push, the more the ski will respond. Shorter-radius turns can be more playful, so if you find yourself in some deep snow and want to smear and slarve around a bit, the skis will do that just fine. If the fresh snow is a bit harder to be found, don't be afraid to let them run out there through the crud and mank, the longer radius capabilities of the Blaze 106 are top-notch. In addition to the radius, the skis also have the suspension tips and tails that contribute to ski damping and a quiet and smooth ride. Adding to the power of the ski is the titanal power plate found underfoot. Even at 106 and with a hybrid multilayer wood core, the Blaze can be stood upon and driven like a narrower piste-oriented ski and it responds quite well. For their weight, the Blaze 106 has the necessary ingredients to make for a stable ski, all without losing the powder and soft-snow capabilities that the skis are actually built for.

Where to Find Your Boot Sole Length (BSL)
The boot sole length is not your foot size or boot size; it is a millimeter measurement of the boot shell. Ski boot manufacturers emboss this measurement into the plastic shell at the heel or under the arch. The number will fall between 255-365mm for an adult ski boot. This number will be greater than your mondo boot size (
eg.
a mondo size of 23.5 commonly has a BSL of 275mm). Please include the “mm” unit to indicate that the number given is the BSL and not the mondo size. Without this precise manufacturer's measurement, we cannot mount your skis.
If we are given incorrect mounting info, the buyer will be responsible for any remounting or restocking fees.
Binding Check:
Buyer is responsible
for taking Ski + Binding to a certified ski shop before use to make final adjustments and do a safety release check.  We do NOT set DIN levels.
Product Availability
Our eBay store shares much of its inventory with our family-owned retail store in Stowe, VT and sometimes our inventory is not accurate due to purchases made locally. If you purchase something that is sold out, we will try our best to find you a suitable replacement item. Any payment for an item that is not available will be refunded immediately. Keep in mind that weekend purchases are not finalized until Monday due to our eBay Department schedule.
