The Blizzard Black Pearl 82 SP skis with TPC 10 Bindings is a women-specific all-mountain setup designed for intermediate to advanced skiers who spend the majority of their time on groomed and hard-packed terrain but want a bit of added versatility from their skis in order to handle some softer snow. Not as wide as the 88 and not as narrow as the 78, the Black Pearl 82 sits squarely in the middle of the lineup as the "wide carving ski". It retains plenty of torsional stiffness and is very nimble edge to edge, but it is wide enough to use if things get softer. A slight rocker profile in the tip and tail provides some great forgiveness and maneuverability, allowing for easy edge release when needed. The core construction of this ski makes it much less demanding overall and makes it much more forgiving, particularly in softer snow. While it's certainly not a floater, it is wider than a true frontside carving ski, so you essentially get no loss of edge hold and on trail performance while gaining some additional capabilities when it comes to handling variable snow. A generous sidecut on these skis helps them create a shorter turn radius for skiers that prefer making shorter turns or who enjoy a really dynamic ski experience at higher speeds. Where to Find Your Boot Sole Length (BSL)
The boot sole length is not your foot size or boot size; it is a millimeter measurement of the boot shell. Ski boot manufacturers emboss this measurement into the plastic shell at the heel or under the arch. The number will fall between 255-365mm for an adult ski boot. This number will be greater than your mondo boot size (
eg.
a mondo size of 23.5 commonly has a BSL of 275mm). Please include the “mm” unit to indicate that the number given is the BSL and not the mondo size. Without this precise manufacturer's measurement, we cannot mount your skis.
If we are given incorrect mounting info, the buyer will be responsible for any remounting or restocking fees.
Binding Check:
Buyer is responsible
for taking Ski + Binding to a certified ski shop before use to make final adjustments and do a safety release check.  We do NOT set DIN levels.
Product Availability
Our eBay store shares much of its inventory with our family-owned retail store in Stowe, VT and sometimes our inventory is not accurate due to purchases made locally. If you purchase something that is sold out, we will try our best to find you a suitable replacement item. Any payment for an item that is not available will be refunded immediately. Keep in mind that weekend purchases are not finalized until Monday due to our eBay Department schedule.
