    Description

This Film Adapter Kit lets you load normal medium format 120 film in cameras or film backs made for the 51 or later marked 151 film camera. The 151 film went out of production in 1940's and is extremely difficult to find, and if found it's expensive and obviously expired! No original 151 spool is needed for this system: you don’t have to re-spool the film from one spool to another. If you do not already have at least 1 original 51 spool you will need to order 2 adapters. An empty 120 spool is not included but very easy to get on eBay.
Load 120 film on old cameras and old film holders backs designed for the Kodak 51/151 film format! One example is the Kodak/Graflex  #51 4¼ x 3¼ Roll holder but it should fit anything designed for 51/151 roll film.
With this kit you will be able to take wonderful panoramic photos in your vintage camera.
The parts are printed with a very solid PETG polymer with medal drive pins and metal hardware to ensure solid mounting.
The KIT come with 6 pcs. 2 adapters, 2 drive inserts, 1 m3 nut and 1 m3 screw. You also need a 2.5mm hex drive to install the screw but its not 100% required and can be assembled without it.
Load the the empty spool (take-up spool) with two adapters mounted at both ends.
Mount the other two adapters on the unexposed film and install in the camera.
Insert the paper leader into the take-up spool and roll up until it’s well inserted.
Be sure to block the film count window with some black tape to prevent light leaks.
That’s it! The kit is very easy to use and will work with all variations, brands of 120 film sold today.
    Winding and Frame Numbering
With the camera/holder still open, start winding the film until you see the big vertical arrow, then close your camera/holder.
Turn the film advance knob 8-10 times
(16-20 half turns) so that the film reaches the correct placing for the first photo.
You may want to use an expired roll as a test to get your spacing correct
    .
After the first photo is taken,
advance the film by 4-5 knob’s turns (or 8-10 half turns)
, and do this for photo 2, 3, 4, 5 and 6 (the last one usually).
Wind until the end of the film: the empty spool becomes the take-up spool.
    You’re ready to shoot again.
