Elgeet Navitar 259mm f/3.5 Large Missle Tracking Lens CZR Camera

Description

This sale is for an Elgeet Navitar 259mm f/3.5 Lens. Used on a CZR-1 Missle Tracking Camera. I acquired this lens about 25 years ago from the Department of Energy as surplus. It was actually attached to the CZR camera (camera weighed hundreds of pounds and was scrapped out). I will include the name plate from the camera.
The lens is quite large, weighs app. 10 1/2 pounds and the front filter ring is 5 1/2 inches in diameter. Length is close to 8 inches. There is an adjustable diaphragm but no diaphragm scale as that was part of the camera body. Includes a large mounting/retaining ring. Front lens coating has some marks from cleaning and the coating has a bit of "blooming" in spots. Inside of lens has some very fine dust from the Nevada desert as this was used to document activities at the Nevada Test Site in the 1950's and 1960's.
