Ground glass to fit Graflex 4x5 Graflok backs, this also fits Graflex 4x5 metal spring backs. Glass is sized specifically to fit Graflex and is slightly smaller than 4x5 inches. See my other sales if you need a regular 4x5. Each piece is test fit to a Graflok back to assure exact fit.
This glass is ground from German Schott optical glass and is approx 1.2 mm thick. This thin glass is ex quality and fits a Graflok back perfectly. If you prefer thicker glass I also make and sell a 2mm GG for Graflex see my other items.
I have been making gg for a decade or longer.  Hand ground glass is the best to use much finer and brighter than acid etched glass. I have ground the edge so no sharp edges. Hand made product than you for supporting the arts.

Be wary of ground glass that has an etched grid as etching scribes a line "in" the glass. This scribed line is the same way we snap glass to cut it. Etched grids can cause the glass to snap on the etch line quite easily. I had this happen so I stopped doing that and the reason you will not see me selling glass with an etched grid.
