    This is a rare piece by Howard Pierce that is both a sculpture and a vase. There are four openings in the tree stump that can be used for flowers or grass. I would recommend dry or fake flowers/grass, as I don’t think it’s intended to be filled with water. It’s in great condition, with just a couple of tiny chips at the tips of the lower squirrel’s ears. There are also some pops in the glaze where it pooled.
