    Description
This module is ideally suited to adding a slightly different light or transmission to your project. The module provides a bright IR LED to transmit your data wirelessly. IR LEDs are typically found in devices such as TVs and radios. The module includes an onboard visible LED that will light when the IR LED is lit, to help you know when data is being transmitted.
IR (Infrared) is in a portion of the electromagnetic spectrum that is invisible to the naked eye. As such testing this module can be troublesome. A nice little trick to help; take a digital camera or smartphone camera and point the camera at the LED while it is lit. You will find most digital cameras show a gentle purple glow from the LED when it is lit.
This module is part of the Keyestudio EASY-plug range and features the series standardised connector. The series promotes connection to other modules and microcontrollers without the risk of wiring incorrectly. Further more the socket is compatible with all readily available standard RJ11 ended cables.
Please do not hesitate to contact us if you require further information regarding the module's operation.
