OLD Zuni silver & turquoise ring SIMPLICIO

Vintage Zuni sterling silver ring with a pointed oval blue natural turquoise stone with a carved surface. The turquoise is possibly from the Bisbee mine. The tapered band type shank has applied silver leaves on the sides, which are indicative of the Simplicio family from Zuni. I do not know if the ring was made by Dan Simplicio or one of his descendants.
Very good quality and condition, with moderate wear. Jewelry by the well-known Simplicio family is very popular and collectible! Unsigned, as is typical of jewelry of this era ca. 3
rd
quarter of the 1900’s. Reasonable starting price.
