- dome shape, used in forming and shaping soft and precious metals - sheet metals without marring.  Hammer has an overall length of 13" with a wooden contoured handle that provides for an easy and comfort grip. Hammer weight is 22 ounces (approx. 1/5Lbs.)
This plastic nylon hammer works well when working with soft sheet metals for raising, shaping and forming domes and spheres. Hammer is non marring being plastic, helps keep metal surface from scratches when forming.
NOTE: Always use Nylon hammers on soft surface! Hammer is not recommended for ferrous metals.
