    EXTRAORDINARY
& Vintage SIGNED CHARLES KAZIUN JR RED & YELLOW STRIPED SNAKES Art Glass Paperweight with a Posy Flower with a Red & Pink Rope Rose and all resting gently on a Baby Blue Ground with Goldstone
. This one does have 3 small dimples in the glass (see Yellow arrows in the last picture number 10) on the underside and I am sure this happened at the time this amazing piece was created by Charles. They are not really
    visible
when viewing this lovely weight from the top or sides. I have reduced the price already for this minor imperfection. This one does have
Charles's Signature Gold K Foil on the underside. I consider this one in Very Good
Original Vintage Condition for displaying Charles's work of art glass. What is fascinating about Charles's works of art glass is that he manages to
    encompasses
    several things all into one
    Gorgeous
    Weight, such as 3
    separate
Lampwork objects two being the Snakes and the other being a Scarce Posy Red & Pink Rope Rose Flower. This one even has
    Charles's
signature Gold Foil Emblem of a Bubble Bee on one of the Forest Green Leaves.
This weight is similar to one pictured in the book called "MAGIC IN THE GLASS The Paperweight Artistry of Charles Kaziun Jr." by Bernard Drabeck, Page 119 LA-51. I consider this amazing work of Art Glass to be in Very Good Original Vintage Condition. It shows
    negligible
    shelf
    wear
    .
The pictures do not do this Gorgeous Work of Art justice and is a must see to appreciate
    . This
    Amazing

Short History of Charles Kazium Jr.
Charles Kaziun has been called the "Father of the American Paperweight Renaissance" for his influential role in the modern era of paperweight making. Charles began his 6 decade long career in the art glass making field at an early age of 14.
One of the pioneers of paperweight making, Charles Kaziun began working in 1940’s to recreate the lost techniques of the French glass factories. His work includes a wide range of millefiori, lampwork, sulphide
    silhouettes
and crimp flower paperweights, as well as faceted perfume bottles and other related Art Glass items. Born on May 18
    th
1919 he became a renowned Art Glass Artist who challenged the boundaries of creating works of art glass that to this day are still admired and inspiring.
He was able to perfect the art of miniaturization and created some of the most amazing detail in such a small space. During his lifetime he used a large variety of "K" signature canes. His later work often contains, in addition to the signature cane, a small 14k gold foil "K", embedded on the underside of the weight. Charles Kaziun Jr. Died in January, 1992
