Rollei TLR Extension Hood - VINTAGE ACCESSORY FITS ALL 2.75” SQUARE VIEWFINDERS!
In view and available in this sale is a vintage Rollei TLR Extension Hood in great vintage condition. Designed for extending the focusing hood to the normal viewing level, this accessory is made of heavy black press-board covered with a black semi-gloss textured fabric covering. It folds flat for easy storage. For use simply slip the Extension Hood over the opened focusing hood. The rounded edge with “breath-guard” faces the camera operator. It’s a simple device that does only one thing and does it well, especially in bright sunlit conditions, without adding any mass to the camera. Obtained in an estate buy-out of an extensive collection Rolleiflex cameras and accessories, this Extension Hood is unmarked as to brand labeling. They are illustrated in the 1959 edition of Rollei’s ‘The Practical Accessories’ catalog.
