Description
Claire Everett Stewart used the name Sorcha Boru for the pottery pieces – mostly childlike figurines, pots, & vases – she made in her studio in California 1932-50s. Her whimsical style, especially on her figurines, makes her pieces easily identifiable, even when her typical “SB” mark is not on the bottom. The quality of her work has been recognized & is on display in several museums today. The childlike bride & groom shapes of these salt & pepper shakers make beautiful shelf pieces. The Bride is 4” tall & 2-3/4” wide at the widest point of her skirt.
The Groom is taller at 4-1/2” & 2” wide at his widest point. Both pieces are in excellent condition. Will ship USPS or UPS.
