Description
Claire Everett Stewart used the name Sorcha Boru for the pottery pieces – mostly childlike figurines, pots, & vases – she made in her studio in California 1932-50s.Her whimsical style, especially on her figurines, makes her pieces easily identifiable, even when her typical “S" or "SB” mark is not on the bottom.
The quality of her work has been recognized & is on display in several museums today.
These children in overalls salt & pepper shakers make beautiful shelf pieces.
The Boy is 5-1/8” tall & 2” wide at his widest point.
The Girl leaning to smell the flower is 2” tall & 3-1/4” wide at her widest point.
Both pieces are in excellent condition.
Will ship USPS or UPS.
