Tittot Pate-de-Verre Paperweight Kiln Fired Liuli Chinese Art Glass Double Cup

Description

Stunningly complicated pate-de-verre glass double cup by Tittot.  I found a similar one, titled a friendship cup,  at Tittot's website which was in their one of a kind category.  This one is signed on the bottom with Tittot, Chinese characters, the year 2001 and the number 142.  These were made using colored glass beads in a kiln using a lost wax technique for molding details and then embellished from there.  This one is very organic,with an art nouveau decoration.  It is primarily clear and green with some blue in it.  It measures 3-3/4" tall and is 4-1/2" wide.
