Tips: How to reduce dust
In order to reduce dust on the film surface, it is best solution to get brand new cut film holders. Most old used holders (such as Fidelity, Lisco) have dust inside the slit. Some dust appears on the surface of film very often. That may annoy you.
However, brand new holders are very clean and dust free. TOYO says they use special light-seal fiber inside the slit in order to reduce dust.
When inserting film, a static electricity removal brush and canned air duster will help you. Use them before inserting a film. Clean plastic groves are also helpful.
You should insert films in the bathroom, dust free environment.
A dark bag is not recommended, because usually there is much dust inside it. Packing each holder in a clean plastic ziplock bag is also important.
