VINTAGE CALIFORNIA ART POTTERY DUTCH SAILOR FIGURINE MID CENTURY 1940's Retro

Vintage 1940's Dutch Sailor pottery figure. Most likely made in Cal., USA,
but artist name is not readable. Looks similar to artists of that era and location like Hedi Schoop. This dashing young man is in excellent condition for age, near mint. Only a few tiny traces of paint loss in a couple places, chin, nose, tip of hands. No chips or damage. Some crazing overall, most noticeable on the white cap, shown in image #6. Amazing detailed painting - blue eyes, red buttons, and red lips. He has the billowy pants of Dutch sailors of that time, as well as the look of pointed wooden shoes.
