This 1950's Vintage California Pottery Pink Flower Petal Bowl by Valley Vista Ceramics is darling!
The set is in great vintage condition
.  Valley Vista operated in Los Angeles from 1946 - 1962, and
the artists who worked there must have loved their work!
The pink sunflower cover has a cut-out for a serving spoon (not included).  When you take off the lid, the straight-sided bowl is "embossed" with the pattern of leaves.  This was possibly part of a larger snack set, but works well as a small tureen or dip bowl.  Your guests will love it!
The straight-sided bowl is 7" in diameter x 2.5" tall.
There is one tiny ding on the bottom of the bowl that cannot be seen unless it is turned over.  (You can see it in the last photo on the raised "foot".)  It does not affect the use of the bowl, nor does it affect the way the bowl sits.
