  • Condition: In good USED condition. View the photos carefully, please. The interior has chalky white deposits, possibly from hard water? In image 1, you can see a small flaw in the clay, lower right. In image 2, you can see a vertical line on the exterior of the pot. I rubbed at it a bit and it did not come off. I do not want to damage the glaze, so did not try using anything harsh or abrasive to remove it. In image 3, to the right there is a second line, just like in image 2. Also, upper left is a small flaw in the clay. Right above that is a flea-bite at the rim. There are 3 or 4 other flea bites on the piece, all of them smaller than the one shown here. Otherwise, there are no chips and no cracks in the piece. In image 6 you can see a dark line inside the pot. This is not a crack. This is a line formed where the glaze, as it was applied, lapped over existing glaze, creating a ridge in the glaze when it was fired.

    Description

    This is a Vintage used pot / planter by Gainey Ceramics of La Verne, California, probably from the 1960's.
    The T-10 pot is 9 inches high, 10-1/4 inches outside diameter at the top, and 7 inches outside diameter at the base.
    Please review photos and condition description before bidding.
    I will pack this securely in an over-sized box to contribute to its survival in shipment.
