Kay Finch American Indian / Native American Couple Figurines
Offering a beautiful, vintage pair of Native American figurines -- research indicates these were produced by Kay Finch in her California Pottery Studio (Corona del Mar). Further it appears that this color combination is particularly rare as the others found in searches have been a blue combination; this pair / couple has greens for coloring. This couple with a baby and toddler (3 piece set) was listed in the 1996 publication "Kay Finch Ceramics Her Enchanted World" on page 112 with a value of 0-0.
Please note I am not an expert and, as such, I am unable to guarantee these are original Kay Finch
as these are not signed; however, research indicates that there were many unsigned Kay Finch items produced. Please notice each have the number 11 incised into the bottom, I could find no reference to that in my research

Indian / Native American "brave" man is approximately 6-1/2" tall

Indian / Native American mother carrying a child is approximately 6" tall

Both appear to be in very good to excellent condition (especially considering the age) with the exception of tiny chip on the top of his feather as shown in photos. Both have some crazing which shows in the photos

Interesting to note that Ms. Finch depiction tends to blend different cultures; i.e. the mother's hairstyle is that of a Hopi maiden (butterfly) and the father has the dress more of a Plains Indian.

No returns are accepted unless the item was damaged in shipping or grossly not as described and returned in the same condition. Refunds granted only when there is a GROSS error on my end. Buyer must respond within 3 days of receipt of item and ship it back within 7 days. Buyer to pay return shipping costs. Refunds will be for the purchase price excluding shipping costs paid by the seller.
