Vintage Kay Finch Pearl Glaze Test Piece Jezzy Cat; Rare & Stunning CA Pottery!

The pearl finish on this 4 ½ inch Jezzy sleeping cat is absolutely beautiful, especially in combination with the gold tail, gold inner ears and gold bow (see back of kitty).
And such a sweet face! I bought this cat from a collector, and it came with a tag that reads: “#5302 Named Jezzy. This is a glaze test piece “Pink Pearl” sleeping Cat. 0, Page 59.” This is definitely a very rare finish on a rare cat and it does
correspond to the “pink pearl” Jezzy on page 59 of the Kay Finch “Bible” by Mike Nickel & Cindy Horvath. The overall color on the photos seems accurate. Jezzy’s only flaw is that the tip of one of the ribbons is chipped off. Otherwise, I see no crazing and the gold is in great condition with the slightest of wear on the very edge of part of the upper ribbon. The white line in the tail and the white on the tail tip are under the glaze. Any other white spots in the gold are due to reflections.
