Vintage Pacific Pottery Deco Skyscraper Turquoise Sand Jar Umbrella Stand

- Vintage Pacific Pottery sand jar/umbrella stand
- This was produced in California probably in the late 1930's or early 1940's - the company changed course in about 1942
- According to the excellent book by Jeffrey B. Snyder entitled
Pacific Pottery
, the wonderful design was called the "deco skyscraper" motif
- The piece is in very good, but not perfect, vintage condition.  I am not an expert and it is sometimes difficult to tell a tiny nick from a tiny factory blemish.  There are some on this piece and we have attempted to take photos of these small imperfections.  They are not really visible until you get up very close to the piece.
- The approximate dimensions are:  20.25 inches tall; 9 inches diameter on top' 11 inches diameter on bottom
- We travel between LA and Santa Barbara on a regular basis and can drop it off along the 101
