Vintage Sylvia Hood Original Chalkware Figurines: Young Man & Woman
Circa 1960-1965
These two Sylvia Hood Original Chalkware Figurines are of a young man and woman dressed in similar attire with hands clasped in front of them as they both appear to bow slightly, glancing in each other's direction.  They are comprised of Extone (a material much like chalkware and used by Sylvia Hood in her creations).  They are painted with rose, baby blue, and beige details.
The figurines are in excellent vintage condition with some wear to the edges of the felt base and "Sylvia Hood Original Pasadena" label on the bottoms.

My father and I found these two figurines at an estate sale approximately 13 years ago.  I've tried to research them; however, have come up empty-handed.  They "appear" to a young couple, perhaps just married, but that is all speculation.  Perhaps you have been "searching" for this couple to add to your collection.
