    Description

    For sale are 40 wet plate collodion tintype plates that are sized to fit inside a 35mm camera. They measure (1 3/8 inch by 2 3/4 inch) in size and feature a deep, glossy, black coat of japan that is twice-baked on both sides. Each plate comes with a protective plastic sleeve that will keep it safe until wanted for use. These plates are great for anyone starting out in wet plate photography and has access to an old SLR 35mm film camera. However, any 35mm camera with a tripod socket and a bulb setting will work. I have test-fitted the plates in both an old Pentax 35mm SLR and a Canon AE-1 SLR and they fit fine. If you already make wet plate images and would like to try something smaller for a change, these are a great option.
